EAA News - AMA Expo 2011
The Expo is sponsored by the AMA - the world’s largest model aviation association – and offers the latest products in radio-controlled model aviation, demonstrations, interactive displays and exploration of the intricacies of flying model airplanes, helicopters, rockets, gliders, and more.
The exhibit hall stage will showcase such notables as Joe Bock, founder of Aero Telemetry, an aeronautical engineer and designer of large, elaborate models used in such Hollywood movies as “The Aviator”; Brad Lang, presenting on the famed Red Tail Project of the Tuskegee Airmen and Katie Bosman, demo pilot for Jabiru USA Sport Aircraft and a former national aeromodeling champion.
