My first AMA Expo was in 2010, about 1 year after joining the AMA staff as part of the Marketing/Expo Team. Looking back, I think that first Expo had one of the best all-star lineups of special guests and speakers!
I find the stories shared in these presentations inspiring and educational in many ways. I hope they can be used to inspire others and help show the impact of model aviation!
Over the years Expo has certainly had its share of special guests and presentations. It was difficult to pick only 10 for this list. I would suggest watching all of them.
With a lot of people staying home these days and looking for something to binge watch I thought it might be fun to share my TOP 10 PICKS. So grab some popcorn and enjoy!

#4 Joe Bok. This is the first of several Joe Bok’s discussions at the Expo. The story of building and flying the models for the movie The Aviator first appeared in Model Aviation magazine back in July 2005. He took the Expo stage to a packed house and shared a behind-the-scenes look at not only the building and flying of the models, but how that worked with the making of the movie. I would also like to add that I have gotten to know Joe over the years, and would like to say I consider him a close friend, I hope to keep sharing his work to help inspire others.
