Our Hughes XF-11 built for the Academy Award winning film

The Aviator

We specialize in the design and fabrication of Unmanned Air Vehicles and related airborne electronic subsystem components required for telemetry, command, and control.

Our fully integrated engineering and manufacturing facility allows us to quickly fabricate and prototype parts to accelerate the process from design to reality.

Our telemetry systems provide high-reliability, long range communication to and from unmanned airborne platforms and space based satellites.

Our systems have been successfully deployed in mission critical applications for both military and commercial aerospace applications.

We are constantly researching and developing new technology that allows us to bring the best products and services to our valued customers.

Take a behind the scenes look at our company and some of the interesting projects we have recently completed.

Our telemetry integration and military electronics shop is continuing its hard work to support the national defense concerns of both the United States Military and its front-line commercial aerospace customers.

Our vintage airplane engine restoration shop has been busy with several rare and historically significant radial engines and our airplane model shop is always building something new.

We pride ourselves on being able to redefine the boundaries between Engineering and Art.

Our work has covered a wide range of applications. From telemetry enabled football helmets able to measure the force of an parts for the Space Shuttle itself...Check it out!

Joe Bok and his Aero Telemetry team provided all of the flyable scale model airplanes used in the Academy Award winning film, The Aviator.

Our engineers created the world's largest remotely controlled models of the Hughes XF-11, the H4 Hercules or Spruce Goose and the Hughes H-1 Racer.

In addition, Aero Telemetry provided 7 other motion control airplane models including a 14 ft Gotha Bomber, a Sikorsky S-38, 2 Fokker D.VII's, 2 RAF SE-5A's and a DeHavilland DH-4.

Long hours of hard work and technical know-how by the entire Aero Telemetry team made these extraordinary airplanes possible and allowed them to safely provide The Aviator with what is arguably some of the most incredible aerial sequences ever captured in the history of film.

The Aero Telemetry Corporation specializes in the design & manufacture of Unmanned Air Vehicles and related mechanical and electronic components used for Military and Commercial Aerospace applications.

Our Aero Telemetry products, services, and electronic systems are currently used to support a wide variety of applications, such as university level research and development projects, commercial and military UAV flight test programs, front-line theatre-deployed air vehicle systems used for reconnaissance and mission-critical satellite telemetry, command & control communication systems for the United States Space Force and all branches of the U.S. Military.
