Solidworks, Rhino or AUTOCAD Design Engineer

​

Job Summary:

  • Must be proficient in Rhino, Solidworks or AUTOCAD. Primary assignments would be in wing/airfoil integration, landing gear systems designs, control surface interfaces, and complex wing attachment systems for large unmanned air vehicles.

  • Product testing, new product development, failure analysis of components, limited run manufacturing, test and troubleshoot hardware systems and sub-systems.

  • Perform systems integration support for new development and upgrades to existing systems on large model airplanes. This is a "hands-on" job.

  • Candidate will be responsible for new product development and interface between the field tests and laboratory designed products

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have a thorough understanding of airplanes and unmanned air vehicle design or have extensive experience with large model aircraft systems.

  • 15 years experience in the design, integration and in test of complex unmanned air vehicle systems. Full scale pilots license or military experience a serious plus!

  • Experience in VHF/UHF and microwave telemetry helpful.

  • Experience in radio control airplane design and prototyping.

  • Proficiency in the use of machine tools, skills with mill, lathe, and welding a real plus.

  • Must have good communication skills and be able to adapt quickly to fast pace new product developments and challenging but interesting customer applications.

Model Builder with Aerospace Experience

​

Job Summary:

  • Fabricate airplane wing mounting systems and related structural sub-systems on fuselage, wing, and empennage.

  • Fabricate landing gear systems, install control surface actuators, fuel tanks, wiring, and other tasks required to operate large UAV's.

  • Perform systems integration support for new development and upgrades to existing systems.

  • Candidate will be responsible for new product development and interface between the field tests and laboratory designed products.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have a thorough understanding of model aircraft systems and power plants, both turbine and piston.

  • 15 years experience in the design, integration and in test of large unmanned air vehicle systems.

  • Experience in full scale airplanes helpful.

  • Experience in design and prototyping of model airplanes.

  • Proficiency in the use of machine tools and composites (epoxy, polyester, fiberglass, molds).

  • Must have good communication skills and be able to adapt quickly to fast pace new product developments and challenging but interesting customer applications.

RF Test Engineer

 

Job Summary:

  • Carry out testing on subsystem and systems as specified by a design engineer.

  • Devise, write and schedule test plans as well as document and present results.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in network analyzer measurement testing.

  • Experience in gain, noise figure, linearity measurement testing.

  • Experience in use of spectrum analyzer and familiarity with calibration procedures for RF measurements.

  • Experience in low noise amplifiers in the 100 MHz to 3GHz region.
