Elliptical, Parabolic, Direction Finding System

This azimuth only direction finding system detects and determines angle of arrival of incoming RF signals in the frequency range of 0.5 - 18.0 GHz, when used in conjunction with an appropriate receiver.

The system provides a minimum 15° or 35° elevation plane beamwidth. The reflector is elliptically shaped in the vertical plane providing a constant elevation beamwidth, parabolically shaped in the horizontal plane, providing narrowing of the azimuth beam and increase in gain as the frequency increases. This antenna assembly has been derived by computer aided design and can be changed in size and shape to meet your specific size constraints, with respect to frequency range, gain and elevation beamwidth requirements.
